We sail towards the Esmark glacier and Oscar II Land. The Russian mining settlement looms on the side of the mountain above Grønfjorden. We'll make a short stop here before passing Colesbukta with its nearby thriving bird cliffs. Warm lunch and maybe even a BBQ on deck.
We will be served a nice meal onboard, normally barbeque food. The kiosk on board has all rights, and here you may buy things such as coffee/tea, mineral water, waffles and chokolate. It is also possible to rent binoculars from the kiosk.During the cruise, our guide will give us information and tell us about nature, history, hunters, wildlife, etc. The crew is always happy to share their knowledge about Svalbard and their arctic stories with you. Please do not hesitate in asking them your questions!Dress in warm, windproof clothing, and remember to bring hat, gloves/mittens and scarf. We have a number og snowmobile suits on board which we may borrow if we get cold, but there are not enough suits for all of us.
Transport to/from accomadation (not the camping site), warm lunch onboard, sightseeing in Barentsburg with English speaking guide. Tour leader/guide onboard.
