We are equipped and given an introduction in how to drive a snowmobile before setting off towards Tempelfjorden. The usual route takes us through Adventdalen, onwards through Eskerdalen before entering Sassendalen. Alternatively we go through Helvetiadalen and De Geerdalen and down towards Sassenfjorden.

We ride up towards the ragged glacier face of the Tuna and Von Post glacier which is frozen in the ice covered sea, and have lunch in Tempelfjorden. If the weather is nice we can select a different route for the return journey.
