Come away from the lights of town and enjoy an evening at Camp Barentz. Infront of the open fire in Barentz hus, your hosts will serve an Arctic meal with home-made cake and cook up coffee over the fire, while sharing their experiences on Svalbard.
Camp Barentz is located about 10km from Longyearbyen, and is a fantastic place to enjoy an evening in stmospheric surrounds. While the open fire crackles quietly, our host will show a slideshow and share stories from Svalbard's exciting history, as well as experiences from the many trips they have enjoyed on Svalbard.
Transport from/to your accommodation is included, as well as warm meal, cake and soft drinks. You are able to purchase extra beverages here. This is an indoor activity, but it can be a little cold due to drafts in the wooden buildings. We recommend guests wear comfortable outdoor clothing and warm shoes.
